Located at 2420 Northern Visions Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684, Accurate Tire & Wheel operates as a tire shop serving Traverse City in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

In Mid June, Our car's wheel rim cracked amid our family road trip in Traverse City, Accurate Tire and Wheel was our last hope to repair the wheel and resume our trip, and they did a FANTASTIC JOB. The crew was trying everything they could to help us with the issue. Really appreciate it, and of cos the price was more than reasonable. So, I'd recommend them to everyone!

did a great job mounting these stretched 305/35 tires on a 24x14 rim!

I purchased a new vehicle in the spring and come winter time, one of the tires had sprung a pretty decent leak. I originally took it to Discount Tire who told me my rims were corroded and I needed to buy all new rims totaling over $1000 which really puzzled me because I knew the history of the vehicle. I decided to get a second opinion and called Accurate Tire instead. I am so glad I did! Not only did they fix my issue with a simple clean and seal, but I don’t even think they charged me. I will come back to this store for literally every tire need I have. I am new to this area and feel great knowing there is such an honest company as this that I can trust. Thank you.

I've been going here for years and always had great service with Garth. I took my vehicle in this fall to have the snow tires mounted. Garth was not there. I waited because they always had me in and out in under an hour. This time, I waited over 2 hours. The technician broke one of the TPMS sensors, which is understandable. They installed a new one which I paid for and they said I needed to drive for the vehicle to learn the sensor. It did not work. I took the Jeep back the next day and waited over an hour. They said it might be fixed but again it needed to be driven. I drove for days and it did not work. Took the Jeep back a third time and again waited over an hour. I was told the technician programmed the sensor incorrectly. Ultimately, they got it fixed but it took 3 trips and I spent over 4 hours in the waiting room. I am disappointed in the service I received this time around.

Over a month ago I made an appointment with Brian for today to have my snow tires mounted. Upon my arrival I was informed that both Garth and Brian are no longer employed by Accurate Tire. The woman who waited on me asked if I intended to wait and when I said that I would since it only takes 30 minutes she said they now employ different technicians who know their jobs, but just aren't as fast as Garth and Brian. She was right; my appointment was for 11 am and the job wasn't completed until after noon. I hope any one reading this who knows where Garth and Brian are currently working will post it here. I've been a customer at Accurate Tire for a long time, but only because of the service provided by those two men.
